Khadial Mahotsav, Khaiar is a non-profit, voluntary organization founded in 2004 with the mission of fostering the overall development of the marginalized and underserved communities in Khaiar and its surrounding areas. The organization was established by a group of dedicated individuals who shared a common vision to uplift the region’s socio-economic conditions, preserve its rich cultural heritage, and promote social harmony.
Khaiar, located in the heart of the district, is a place full of potential and heritage, but like much of the region, in a backward region of the state, has long struggled with poverty, lack of basic infrastructure, and social inequality. Despite the rich cultural traditions, the people of this area, especially the tribal and rural communities, face significant challenges in accessing education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. Khadial Mahotsav aims to change this narrative by focusing on the holistic development of the community, helping them achieve a better standard of living while preserving their unique cultural identity.
